Oh what fun! The season of hot chocolate sipping, Christmas caroling, snowman making (and more!) is here and there are so many reasons to celebrate. At the heart of it all lays the true reason for the season—Jesus' birth. It's a beautiful time of year, and we invite you to pause and consider the significance of our Savior's arrival on earth with these beloved Bible verses.

Christmas Bible verse“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever should believe in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” ~ John 3:16

"For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over His kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this." ~ Isaiah 9:6-7

"When they [the wise men] saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house, they saw the Child with Mary His mother, and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered Him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way." ~ Matthew 2:10-12

Christmas presents under a tree

"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." ~ John 14:6

"He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." ~ John 1:10-13

"Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever!" ~ Psalm 107:1

"Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" ~ John 1:29

"But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons." ~ Galatians 4:4-5

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” ~ Romans 15:13

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” ~ Luke 2:14

While we may worship Jesus all year round, this season holds a special feeling, as we take a moment to consider Jesus' birth all those years ago. This was the ultimate gift, the gift of hope and salvation. Remember to focus on this, LiF sister. Especially now, when your schedules get busy and your days are full. Every good and perfect thing comes from above. Our favorite way to remember this is by wearing our super cute Christian apparel.
